FINANCE DIRECTOR POSITIONThe Finance Director plans, directs, and oversees all financial accounting and reporting operations of the Lowcountry Council of Governments (COG).
Duties also include overseeing human resources, and other administrative functions.
The Lowcountry COG serves as a connection between the local governments in the region and State and Federal programs.
We serve the four counties and municipalities therein of Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, and Jasper.
Our activities are organized into four program areas Aging and Disability Resources, Workforce Development, Community and Economic Development, and Planning and Transportation.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required; supplemented by five years of experience in accounting, finance, or business administration, to include supervisory experience or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Must possess and maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license.
Salary and Benefits Information The salary for the position is negotiable based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Starting salary is $89,800.
